I have owned my TVS Victor GL for 3 years now and it has already clocked 31, 500 km without a single major problem. And from the very first month till date it has given me an average of 55-60kmpl (though after coming to Bangalore, the average dropped to 55kmpl because of bad roads and big trafic jams). But I’m pretty sure that in other metros it would give a much better mileage.
The good part about the bike apart from mileage is that it has a very low maintanence cost and is reliable for long drives. The darker side however is that, in winter, it has a starting problem and would require 3-4 kicks to start up. However with the sparkplug checked periodically, this problem can be reduced to some extent though not eliminated completely.
There is also wide support for the TVS Victor as it is one of the most popular executive bikes in India. So no problem of spares or servicing. You are never far away from a TVS service center, wherever you are. I would give it a 9.3 on 10 rating.
