I am crazy for motorbikes. I began my biking currier with Royal Enfield(1976). Then I bought Yezdi, Ind-Suzuki, Yamaha, PL170, Hero Honda. I purchased and sold around 11 bikes. Except Yezdi, which was starting trouble proned, other bikes were good at their level. I purchased a TVS VICTOR & realized that it was most formidable decision I had ever taken. My friends call this bike as TVS VICTIM. unfortunately it is a TRUTH!!
This bike comes along with starting trouble as a free gift. Poor Suspension system, acts like a HARD ROCK and so is the seat! TVS monogram (handle bar lock) luster lost within 3 months. Turn Signal lamp plating spoiled within an year. Bike turned out to be most unreliable (Resemblance with YEZDI) as used to stall any time while on the road. Rubber washers/ grommet kit developed cracks within an year Misfiring is special characteristic of TVS. The vehicle farts loudly any time. Turn signal switch pod on handle bar jammed within one monsoon. Replacement is only remedy. Latest bikes use Flange bolts. TVS use ordinary bolts with washer available with Hardware stores. Only reliable part of this bike was Battery, which is outsourced component.
There are several points why one should not buy this vehicle. This is QUALITY BARRED product. I can make this statement as I have vast experience with other Brands plying on the road.
Also I had many times requested top brass of TVS management (Including Mr. Venu Srinivasan-Chairperson) for major rectification of the bike, but the team took it as a complaint and avoided the root cause. As of today I am suffering from severe back & neck pain because of the bike and entirely stopped long drives.
I have successfully diverted/ convinced at least 10 TVS bike buyers to buy other branded bikes.
All of them are highly obliged for my guidance and happily biking other brands
