I purchased this bike(the revised tvs victor ) about 20 days ago.It has taken me 580 kms since then which includes a long drive of 100kms and the rest in city traffic.
The bike is OK to look at. The power is also sufficient. It does give a starting problem when I try to start and it makes a missfire noise from the exhaust. If I hear the missfire I understand that now I have to give it atleast 20 kicks.Whatever u may try, choke , gear shifting etc but the bike would only start when it wants to. But thank god that it only happened thrice to by bike in these 20 days. The dealer’s mechanic has no idea about the reason of the sameI hope that it would not become a daily affair.
Reviews say that it is a very stable bike but I dont find it to be so. you have to be very careful driving it. Prior to this bike I had Hero Honda cd100ss and suzuki max100r none of them suffered from this problem
The shockabsorbers are very soft not fit for bad roads. The average I have got in satisfactory as the bike is in the primary running period up to 1600kms.
Once I complete 2000kms I would write abt my experiences then for the benefit of all victor loves and let them know if it is a good bike or not
