My Dad bought this Wego on Feb 2013, at that time one of the best selling Scooty is TVS Wego, as it is the only Indian brand whose sale was high and in demand. The price at which we bought was ?60, 000.
Design, style and Specification - In 2013 many model Scooty was produced, but not like an Wego. The design and body is awesome in this vehicle. As it was designed for a "Balanced Body Vehicle." The TVs Wego is powered by 110CC engine, with front and rear Springed suspension, with maximum power of 7500rpm, maximum Torque @5500rpm, weight around 108Kg, with drum brake and front and rear, the ground clearance is 150mm, it has a 5 litres of fuel tank.
Mileage - The Mileage with the Company specifies is around 50kmpl in city and around 55 kmpl in the Highway. But I didn’t get the specified mileage as they mentioned. Because we have two models of Wego. The first one is 2011 model vehicle, which gives around 42 kmpl of mileage, but the vehicle that has been purchased in 2013 model gives me roughly about only 30kmpl. I don’t know why this sort of problem in this vehicle. The top speed is 85kmp/hr.
Reliability - As compared to other brand of Scooty vehicles, the Wego is one the best one, which has also received best scooter award. You can buy this vehicle with no confusion, because it’s seating and comfort while riding gives an awesome feel. The performance of this bike is good and no doubt with it’s battery condition. As you need not change it very often or, you have to recharge the battery. Using it till now, only once I have changed the battery.
The tyre present in this Scooty is well balanced for Indian road conditions. As its grip is very good and adjustable for the city road conditions. You can relay on it.
The Vehicles that has been produced now has digital meter, Disc brakes, telescopic suspension and more features in it.
