I have bought the TVS Wego Bearing Registration No GA-08/Q-3727. Engine no- OG4KC1433349 AND Chassis No- MD626AG42C1K56959.
A sum of Rupees fifty four thousand seven hundred is paid to the authorized dealer M/S Mangurish Motors towards cost of scooter, road tax, insurance, handling, charges etc. vide receipt no 1963 dated 21/09/2012.
Had a horrifying experience.
1) Oil was leaking from the engine. After several months changing oil seal, finally company realized that it was oil seal problem of the whole batch and got it replaced. Hard hardship for several months together.
2) Wego wobbles and the company officials are trying trial and error methods.
All Wego’s in our vicinity are having the Wego wobbling problem and now I have seen after a year of riding that the rear back tyre is getting worn off on the right side-symbolizing alignment manufacturing defect.
I am filing a case in consumer forum if my problem is not rectified. I have written to company today to refund my scooter amount or change the scooter if problems are rectified.
If you minus the problem of wobbling and tyre getting worn off.it is a good scooter.But with the defect for all wegos it is dangerous to ride at higher speeds.
Hope the problem does not arise for the Jupiter.
If one wants to verify please look closely at a Wego parked and ridden more then 5000kms.You will observe the wear of the tyre on right side. The company changed my shocks etc. I guess it is a chassis alignment problem.
Mileage 40! Think twice before buying.
IF NOT FOR THE ABOVE MAJOR PROBLEM I WOULD RATE IT 5 STAR.
