TVS Wego

I got the wego last march 2011.till now 6000+ kms completed.Initially I was getting mileage of 35+ (i used to drive at 60+ whenever possible and that too daily driving in peek traffic hours).A month back my office changed to manyata and I am driving from brookefield to manyata via outer ring road. initial one week, I used to cruise at 70+ on outer ring road and got mileage of 30+. Then I changed the driving speed and tried less than 50 for past 2 weeks.I am getting mileage of 50+(with 2 people) which is awesome. Looks like this scooter will give good mileage if we stick to their suggested speed.

Other than mileage, I would like to review other points below

Pros

• Good ride quality

• Bit powerful. I tried the speed clocking till 90(alone).

(with 2 people, u can touch only till 80 max. With 3 people, u can touch only 50..)

• Better mileage

• Not much service cost or repairs even till 6000+ kms. Till date I spend only rs 100 to repair the speedometer cable recently and few hundred during service

• Trijal TVS service is good

Cons

• During winter, starting the scooter is bit tough task.at least takes few mins

• Breaks are not much reliable even at the speed of 60. Most of the time I use both the breaks to stop the scooter.

Overall, I feel happy to purchase Wego and suggest the new buyers also
