About TVS Wego - What you want from a scooter.
A Great Engine: Honda is best, TVS is great - instant acceleration, good speed.
Good Mileage with a standard driving style: In stop go traffic I drive depending on my mood. Usually prefer 50 to 60 kmph when road is free, sometimes at 80KMPH. 50% I go double ride. I get a Mileage of 48 to 51 KMPL with my riding conditions.
Body Balance and control- This is the key feature and main selling point of TVS. On slippery roads it skids straight like a bike. On great roads - sudden brakng works like power brakes of a car. This is THE MOST SAFEST SCOOTER. Others are not even close.
Comfort: All the scooter manufacturers should learn from TVS about seat comfort and suspension. On bad roads - TVS Wego glides, every other scooter will break your back bone.
NVH: Wego’s all metal body ensures lowest NVH. Activa may be comparable a bit. All other scooters with their fibre bodies and hard suspensions- making rattling noise.
Bigger wheels: 12" alloy is a massive benefit comapred to all other Indian scooters with 10" steel wheels. Only Honda Aviator has front 12 inch wheel but 10 inch rear. Hero Pleasure now started offering alloy wheels- but 10 inch only.
All important accessories - Floor mat, Side stand, buzzer, handle grip, ladies foot rest, mirrors and front Box comes standard, while you have to pay 2.5 to 3K on all other scooters for these. Honda hardly includes anything free.
