I had bought a Wego in April 2011 from Skanda Motors, Hanumanth Nagar, Bangalore and was pretty happy on my decision as I had taken the decision after going through various good reviews of TVS Wego on various social sites including this one. But after my first service of the vehicle, I have been facing various problems since.
Self-Start Problem: My Self-start button started giving problem after a week of my first service and was not responding. After checking with my dealer for the same, it was told to be fuse problem and they fixed it after 1 day of my vehicle being held by them. But they forgot to wire with rear brakes and have to live with it for a week after which gave it back for minor service and they said it was short circuit kind of wiring problem which was fixed. I was all smile again, but didn’t last for long.
Air Lock - Accelerator Problem:== After 3 weeks on after 1st service, I had started getting issues with my Accelerator in the vehicle. It was said to be air lock issue while driving the vehicle. After 3 minor services to fix the issue, still it remains. Skanda motors, Bangalore tried their best to get this fixed but looks like they don’t have capable Mechanics to handle the servicing of the vehicles. My vehicle stops responding to Accelerator for some moments while driving for a long distance. Problem is all of sudden when you are driving at good speed, My vehicle stops responding to the acceleration and comes to complete slow down or halts up completely(Some time turn off as well).
My vehicle is still in warranty and I wish I could get the vehicle replaced.
