Hello Guys, I bought TVS Wego 2016(Deep Blue) last week. I narrowed my scooter purchase based on my budget limitation I don’t want to spend 65K max(on-road) and have better engine and mileage. Also the scooter should be light in weight and easy to drive even for my wife. I found the wego uses the same engine which is in Jupiter.
That’s one plus point for me to consider wego, as Jupiter is kind of a successful vehicle since its launch. Also the other plus point is it comes with fully metal body, with a great instrument cluster which is fully digital, which shows, low fuel indicator, trip and odo meter, with digital clock. Also it shows service alerts and low battery indicator alerts, which we don’t get in Jupiter or other 70K plus scooters which are in Market. Also my wife was so comfortable with this scooter as it comes with Body balance technology with Sync break system. Where the scooter still holds the ground at 10kmph speed, which is really useful in the city ride with bumper to bumper traffic.
The only thing which I did not like its under seat storage. A medium size helmet can occupy the without giving any space for any other things. I still need to observe from the mileage front. The tank size is 5 lt, as of now my scooter odo shows 130 Km with only half tank consumed(as per the digital meter), but its too early to comment. But as far as the ride and handling goes, I am happy with it. For the persons who are huge in size this scooter may look very small. For the medium size people(both male and female) its a good scooter to buy. This is my opinion but I would ask you guys to take a test ride and decide if you are in the market for 100 to 110 cc scooters.
