We have been using TVS XL heavy duty for more than 6-7 years now. I must say it is the best vehicle for city use. It is not as good looking as scooters and 4 stroke bikes but it is way more help than those. You don’t need to think twice if you need to carry alot of weight on this moped.
Handling is great and maintenance cost is almost none. But I will suggest you that keep it serviced every two months for the best efficiency.
We have it in the black color and to be honest that is the only color which looks best on it. Other colors fade soon, I have seen some friends’ XLs which looks faded even after 3 years.
Keep it lubricated because it is two stroke bike. Most important thing is that don’t keep the brakes so tight because it would slip if you apply the tight brakes on the fast speed. Keep the brakes a bit loose, specially the rear brake. : -)
It is the best vehicle for domestic use, and very affordable. It is a must have if you are a shopkeeper, or you travel alot in the city because you don’t need to apply gears over and over again whenever you apply brakes. And as it can carry a lot of stuff on the front stand pad, it is the best carrier vehicle for city use.
