The whole World is going very fast and hence cricket game is also going fast.
I have played lots of cricket during my School days and College days during (1960 - 1990)
I have seen test match cricket and one day international matches played by all major cricket playing countries.
What I found in cricket game was that in five day test match the batsmen the bowler and the fielders have lots of time for everything. In other words, the batsman has time to play defensive play or offensive play. The fielders have time to plan the stratagy and can field nicely. The bowlers have time to bowl a good length deliveries or pace bowling or spin attack. The captain has time to think about the field setting and plan his innings according to the requirment of the innings.
In one day international the freedom of all the players curtailed and often batsmen play rash shots crude shots. The bowlers have time to bowl madly. The fielders don’t have time to set the field according to the weakness of the batsmen. No time for any genuine planning.
Result is that players often get injured and cannot bat or bowl or field. Fitness at the highest level is a big question mark for all the players.
When this is so TWENTY TWENTY cricket has been introduced. Very sad to see this form of cricket. Twenty twenty cricket is unorthodox cricket or not traditional cricket game. I foresee some deaths of cricket players within the next few years in the twenty twenty cricket game. Unorthodox cricket involves lots of improper shots and risk of players are very high indeed. The ICC should ban this twenty twenty as well as one day international since it is injury prone and death prone cricket game. ARE WE GOING TOWARDS STONE AGE WHEREIN STONE AGE MAN USED TO TAKE STICKS AND HIT AT ALL PLACES SMASH AND KILL AND INJURE ALL.
As far as spectators are concerned/collection wise Cricket Boards will get lots of money at the cost of bad health of players are concerned. Spectators will welcome not only TWENTY TWENTY CRICKET GAME BUT ALSO even TEN TEN CRICKET GAME. But who is bothered about the cricket players health point of you except K G V DOSS the LIVING WIZARD OF THE CRICKET GAME.
Let GOD SAVE THE LIVES OF CRICKET PLAYERS PLAYING UNORTHODAX CRICKET.
Whether K G V DOSS will be alive or not but my golden words on this review will be a big talking point in cricket game circles.
I foresee danger in TWENTY TWENTY CRICKET and only people who have played lots of cricket will know what I say. A wizards words in this cricket game can never go wrong!!!
