Performance mania

Hi all

here I m back with another review.

this review is actually a review on performance bikes and not 20 best bikes as I didnt find the place to place this review.

as maximum of my reviews this will also create some controversies( and trust me I dont  want to create but.)

I think I need to introduce myself(in my 16th review) as I m goin some defame here on mouthshut in this segment.

I m Chakrabir singh, frm indore.

I m currently riding fiero(older one, 25000kms) which is my fourth bike after splendor(10000 kms), MAX 100(13000 kms)  and GF125(11000kms)

bikes are my 1st passion and I opted for engg in this field due to this interest.

this is review is all about performance and performance and not efficiency.

while reading this review forget the word FUEL EFFICIENCY

lets talk about a new word PERFORMANCE FUN FACTOR.(PFF)

this means what is bikes performance, how it perfomance, feeling u have while taking it to limit and those bloodly cuts we takes and gained a new name as BLOODY TEEN AGERS.

hey this list is for me and certainly can vary frm person to person as some may like Zma and some SHOGUN.

I havent included those bikes which I have never driven.

1.       YAMAHA RX 100 .       PFF  9/10

the king of 80s have now no place in market as 2 stroke bikes are banned(for new production. blame emmision norms). but a real king and still u can find I hearts of many.

typically a highrevving bike. with lot of controversies regarding its performance.

can it beat Zma? is it faster than Zma? which is quicker a rx100 or 150cc bike?

I have the answer(correct ans) of all this given below after SHOGUN.

  1. SUZUKI  SHOGUN.      PPF  8.5/10

in 80s when RX 100 was ruling the roads SUZUKI was hard in work to give the RX some competition in a real bad bad bad way.

the SHOGUN came as a result and pumping 3 more bhp than RX 100 way up in hihg revvs. it dethroned the RX 100 in terms of performance but the Handing and efficiency was pathetic to say the least and thats keeps customer away frm this real BEAST.

performance. the best straight line performance but not for fast cuts as handling wasnt enough good.

CAN THE SHOGUN OR RX 100 BEAT THE Zma?

the ans is no. not when racing starts frm rest.

it takes a lot time by these to cross 6ooo rpm where main power lies. by this time the Zma(low revving bike) gets a huge margin lead which is not possible to cover.

if the race start frm already moving bikes. than just get these 2 strokers to lower gears and u wont see the Zma in the rear view mirror.

one more thing the top end performance is best in these as these bikes reaches the MAX speed with out losing power and dying out of breath(unlike 4 stroke)

one more thing shogun is quicker and faster than RX100 but not a good handler.

  1. RXZ/RX 135. PFF  7.5/10

the kids are the legendry RX100 didnt performed like the PAPA.

certainly very good bikes but not in comparision with RX100.

they showed that there can be only one RX100.

the main power in these bikes lies in higher revvs just like there PAPA.

performance?

can naver beat Zma or P180 dtsi but surely can beat the 150cc bikes in the same manner the RX100 did for Zma and not in Straight line race frm rest.

the RXZ looks real good.

frm here we start four Stroke bikes.

dammmm I m a high reveving freak. how can I comment on fourstrokes where power lies in low revvs.

I dont want to think of those four stroke which dies with asthama at 85-90 kmph.

for me their PFF should be below 5.

I think I should leave the four stroke section to some other guy and include just one four stroke bike here.

thats the only High revving bikes in INDIA

the KINETIC GF series. PPF  8/10

y better than RXZ? cos these are much better handler than that.

these bikes are the only four strokes bikes in india with FOUR VALVE engines(which makes it a high revving bike)

the 1st impression these bike leaves on person aint good as no one drives these on highrevvs in 1st test drives.

lets start the most controversial part about pickup of these bikes.

GF125.  I used to own one. bought it as I wanna to have a high revving bike.

I always lost to my friends on CBZ and 1st PULSAR 150 in traffic lights and on highways.

they used to laugh at me and my bikes 12 bhp power.

I always thought’every dog has its day’

once we were just goin(not racing) open roads. I realized that thats my day.

I said lets race frm this point.

ok 1   2   3   and their eyes went wide open when they saw me leaving them behind.

when we stopped(i won) they asked how this happened.

I said’go drive my and try to keep the rpm above 6000’ they did what  I said.

when they come back there  reactions were

’ abe ye gadi kya bhaagti hai yaar.marti hi nahi.’

’ abe ye to udti hai 7ooo rpm par yaar.’

the top end performance is best in these bikes

the max fun is at highway.

the company claimed the max speed of 95 kmph and I thought I will run out of breath at some 80 kmph.

it reached 100(speedo indicated with two guys) like its reaches 60. no stress and so stable that u want to do it again and again.

the same is the GF170 but the max speed here is 115 kmph.

GF125 cant beat the 150cc bike frm rest but GF170 will beat all 150cc bikes frm any condition.

these bikes are the best alternative for a guy who want to upgrade to 4- stroke frm 2 stroke.

but its not a 2 stroke.

this was my performance list.

sorry no Zma, no pulsar, no CBZ, No UNi or likes.

it may be in ur list I will be glad to see ur list either in comment or in form of review.

till than keep riding.
