VW Bug

CUTE! This car has to be one of the most adorable looking cars out there. I was under the impression that the BUG would be a TOO feminine kind of a car and wouldn’t be any fun to drive. But I found out that the car met and surpassed my expectations. If you enjoy driving, I’d suggest going in for a turbo because it handle’s much better and has a fantastic pick up. The turbo allows you to race well from a complete stand still.say a traffic light unlike the regular version of the car. The Bug has been constructed using the old beetle as a model. They’ve however, switched the engine from the back of the car to the front. The car is also a front wheel drive so it doesn’t skid when its raining or snowing. The front is built low enough that you could attach something like a shovel to it and use the car to clear up the drive way when its snowing.

Coming to the inside of the car now.there’s a red and purple scheme that one can see once the headlights are turned on. Most of the numbers(speed, clock, weather, etc.) are in red while the background light is purple. I think the VW people put some thought into this because the two colours together come off quite well. There’s also a sun glass’carrier’ on the drivers side, which is convenient I suppose. The steering wheel is black and silver and there’s a little vase that goes next to it in which you can put the sun flower that VW gives you when you buy the car. The car, by the way is a two door despite the fact that it has the capacity to seat four people. Five if there’s a toddler or a young kid in the back. I think sitting at the back is as comfortable as sitting in the front, its just a bit more of a cosier fit. One of the only things that is missing from this car is that it doesn’t tell you the miles per gallon, which is useful when you want to conserve the amount of gas you use by easing up on the accelerator.

Personally.I think that the Bug is a women’s car although I’ve seen tons of men driving it around. With the color scheme, the flower and the delicate look of the car it seems made for a woman in my opinion. I think what attracts the men is the fact that the car is small(good for driving in the city) and that it handles well(I think of it as a tiny porsche);o).
