These are my 20 favorite songs. It was a formidable task in selecting these songs. However, with perseverance I was able to narrow it down to these musical masterpieces.

1)Aerosmith ’s* Living on the edge* is a musical masterpiece. I listen to this catchy song over and over again, but it never gets stale. It is ever-whinning. One of the best attempted songs on social commentary.
2)Alanis Morissette’s Perfect is a combination of rock, soul and ball adesque. I love this song for the sheer energising emotion with which Alanis sang it. The song’s brilliant lyrics speak about the parental and peer pressure children face. Alanis is a ‘breakthrough’ artist who has a comic way of looking at the simple contradictions in day to day life.
3)Beatle’s *Love me do, *is Beatles mysticism at their best a perfect song for any mood, any place, any time.
4)Creed’s* With Arms wide open* appeals to me not only for its emotional melody but also for its deep touching https://lyrics. Its song of Fathers love to his son .
5)Def Leppard’s *Two steps behind *is slow love song, as sentimental as Metal can be. It is really a magic song that runs through your soul.
6)Doors ’s Light my fire is a classic Anthem with Robbie’s guitar solos and ray’s Organ so well constructed that you want the song to go on and on.
7)Divine comedy’s * Gin Soaked boy *is an evergreen song. No one can beat Neel Hannon, a one man band of Divine Comedy, when it comes to masterful humor and inspiring https://lyrics. I love this lively and melodic tone and Hannon’s unique voice.
8)Eagle’s * Love will keep us alive* has a sweet TimothyB.Schmidt’s vocal that never gets lod.It is my all time favorite love song.
9)Guns and Roses’* November rain *is the best melodic masterpiece ever. Period. Axl Rose had a gift for putting words to music and make his feeling known.
10)Jethro Tull ‘s Moths is a very lilting and a melodious song. I like the very English folklore with flirting mandolins in between lines that express romance in the open! This is a typical Jethro Tull style song with abundant flute woven into classic rock rhythms.
11)Jimi Hendrix’s* Purple Haze* is an quintessence of Hendrix .I love the wild soloing the screams and of course, the menacing riffs, every lick he produces, every chord he squeezes out sees that Jimi’s music is a touchstone of “Sound painting” when the music described the words or vice versa.
12)KoRn’s Arms wide open .Love KoRn’s songs for their integrity in lyrics and charecteristic Bass riff of their music.This song is KoRn at his classic best with screeching guitar riffs and David’s recognizable drum beats.
13)Led Zeppelin’s *Stairway to heaven *is most well executed pure gem of a song that puts me in meditation until it rocks at the end. NOT a day goes by without listening or humming this catchy tune, it appeals to me in so many different moods of me, I never get tired.
14)Meatloaf’s I’d do anything for love won the best vocal grammy .This is a masterpiece song, I didn’t like Meatloaf till I listened to this track.Amazing song.
15)Mettalica‘s *Nothing else matters *is most soft rock song.I have held numerous battles defending poor Mettalica from those who say they would better listen to toilet flushing than put on Mettalica .If you have not listened to this song, just go and listen. 16)Nirvana’s *The Man who sold the world *, Cobain sings this famous David Bowie’s song in an unforgettable fatalistic tone and shows the power of his voice.
17)Ozzy Osbourne‘s Mama I am coming home is one of the most emotionally sung rock ballads ever. Have you ever experienced the pleasure of music induced Goosebumps? Just keep listening to this track, you will.
