HEALTH HAZARDS Part 2

And here I go again…

  1. Creed – With Arms Wide Open

Album: Human Clay

Composers: Mark Tremonti; Scott Stapp

A song which(believe me) looks a few more notches up when you are drunk than not. A great song embracing everyone to hear it’With Arms Wide Open’. A song(believe me) not to be missed at any cost.

  1. Linkin’ Park – In The End

Album: Hybrid Theory

Composers: Linkin Park

Someone out there can you please tell me what the title is all about? Though I have not heard the full album but could not make out anything from the few that I have heard(I hope Ive heard them right . u see it is just too difficult to keep pace with this group). In The End is a song which of course starts with one thing and ends with you feeling sorry for the lover who has been deserted by his loved one. Just how hard can one try.(Recommendation: If you can manage to see its video(the original and not the FF9 one) just see it. it is just amazing) A song that starts like it is rap and then slowly builds into rock(even the guy on the scratch is headbanging(in the video) and ends as if it were a pop number. Though I must admit that the end was quite terrific.(both video and audio I mean)

  1. Scorpions – Winds of Change

Album: Crazy World

Composers: Klaus Meine

Scorpions known very well for their faster numbers tried their hand at a soothing number.(much in the category where Enigma and the likes rule the roost). And wonder wonder. We had such a great number in our hands. The blew me away in their winds of change. And by luck if you have heard any of their harder numbers believe me you are sure to blown off too once you hear this.(BTW how many of you havent heard this still /?)

  1. Bryan Adams – 18 Till I Die

Album: 18 Till I Die

Composers: Bryan Adams; Robert John’Mutt’ Lange

Someday ill be 18 runnin’ on 55. how very true. this song appeals to both the young and the young at heart. One of Bryan Adam’s classic numbers. In the class of his other classics and of course relished by fans anywhere Bryan plays live. Too Bad I missed the concert(Well I had to cover 210 kms to reach his place from mine and moreover I would have ruined my tests out here.! Piece of Advice: Never join IIT)

  1. Nirvana – Smells Like Teen Spirit

Album: Nevermind

Composers: Dave Grohl; Krist Novoselic; Kurt Cobain

I always believe that Kurt Kobain and Bruce Dickinson(of Iron Maiden fame) are two of the best things to have happened to the music industry ever.(’Aye Bhagwaan! Tu Achche Logon Ko Itni Jaldi Apne Paas Kyon Bula Leta Hai’. though it is another thing whether a dope fan like CObain would be enjoyin in God’s own country . n no I dont mean Kerala with due regards to all Keralites out there). Newayz This surely gets the spirit of teens right and though I have left ma teens jus a few months ago this song still doesnt seem to lose any interest)

  1. Dido – Thank U

Album: No Angel

Composers: Dido Armstrong; Paul Herman

Of course many would not have heard this song. But tell me how many of you have not heard Stan(from Eminem)? If you have. Then you must’ve come across a guy singin the opening lines and making his head again in the middle of the song with some lyrics that carried no significant meaning to the song as such. That guy was Dido.n this is the original and here the lyrics do full justice. Thank U Dido 4 the song I mean.

  1. Snow - Informer

Album: 12 Inches of Snow

Composers: Darrin O’Brien; Edmond Leary; Shawn Moltke

Imagine if you are being chased around by the cops for some crime that youve not done. They put you behind bars for the same. Well if you were brilliant enough you wouldn’t have got there in the first place but if you do only someone insane among you would have thought to compose a song that points to the Informer that did you in. This song is as insane as it can be and believe me he is singing what those lyrics available on the internet have written. Though this is done at a real incredible pace and that is why this song makes it to ma top 20.(Again what the hell does’12 Inches’ of Snow really means is still a mystery to me . n I sincerely hope I am wrong in what I am thinking(n lyrics like A Licky Boom Boom Down dont do my thought any good). Help any1?)

  1. Peter Andre – Mysterious Girl

Album: Natural

Composers: O. Jacobs; Peter Andre

Another all time classic. n of course all of you have heard this one right? Peter Andre is so much like me. still searching for that mysterious girl I mean.!

  1. Vitamin C – Graduation

Album: Vitamin C

Composers: Vitamin C

A case of repeated names. Still a really great nostalgic song which makes me curse my schoolboy days of which I have nothing great to remember though I will take a lot from this great college which has really shaped me. ah! cut it who out there is interested in me? newayz just hear this song. n probably you will also start writing as me!(i hope)

  1. The Cranberries – Zombie

Album: No Need To Argue

Composers: Dolores O’Riordan

A song that really condemns wars and looks lowly upon the need of war to resolve crisis situations that occur in one’s life and just makes one think. Why war?

And now Another(I mean mine you you.) head hangs lowly awaiting your comments.

ciao

All my life is in brackets.

Imperious but not immortal.
