1.AASHIQUI - The first one to go on my list, the music by nadeem shravan and the voice of kumar sanu makes this album worth listening over and over again, kumar sanu takes over from opinion in the song. Tu meri zindagi hai meri har khushi. The best album every in bollywood. Anuradha paudwal shines as the lady singer in the song sanson ki zarurat hai jaise.
DIL HAI KE MANTA NAHIN- I think most people forst about this movie and the album, The movie and the songs were great, ive watched this movie many times, because of aamir khan’s performance and pooja bhatt’s innocent girl role terrific acting. Again kumar sanu shines in all the songs, perhaps the best song is adayein bhi hai mohabbat bhi hai. anand milind finest till date.
SUR- m.m kareems best work till date all the song are worth listening, my favorite is jaane kya dhundta hai aae mera dil by lucky ali, great lyrics and great music. Lucky ali’s, sunidhi chauhan and mahalaxmi iyers, music, lyrics makes this album a masterpiece.
4. Naam- I can’t forget this album I used to listened to this in india I still do sometimes when I get a chance, the song sung by pankaj udhas chithi aayie hai watan se chithi aayie hai was great song, probably one of the best in the 80’s. The song went with the movies like today’s movies a song would pop up anywhere in the middle when don’t needed. I also love the song tu kal chala jayega tu mein kya karunga it shows the love between to two brothers and the song veriya ve. laxmikant pyarelal do a great job.
5. DEEWANE- This movie starred ajay devgan and urmila, i’ve found all the songs worth listening. I love this album. The music is by sanjeev darshan, My favorite song from the movie saajna ne phool mareya sung by sukhwinder, the lyrics is what makes the song worth listen. great album to listen to.
- Satte pe satta- Another album from the early 80’s. The music is by laxmikant pyarelal, I love the song pyar humhein kis mood pe le aaya. Dilbar mere sung by kishore kumar, zindagi mile bitayenge by kishore kumar is excellent also, The whole album is worth listening, I have the cd downloaded from the computer I listen to this sometimes, when I wanna listen to kishore kumar songs.
7. Saajan- The music is by nadeem shravan, this movie includes one of the best songs sung by kumar sanu Mera dil bhi kitna pagal hai. ALthough all the songs are worth listening over and over again this song was the best.
8.Dilwale dulhania le jayenge- The music is directed by jatin lalit, probably there best score until today, The best song on the album is ho gaya hai tujhko tu pyar saajana and tujhe dekha tu jeh jaana sanam. Probably one of the most played out albums. kumar sanu, udit narayan, lata mangeshkar and jatin lalit’s music makes this album worth lsiten.
Maine pyar kiya- The music is by ram laxman almost all the songs are sung by s.p. bala subramanium. The best of the lot are mere rang mein rangnge waali and aate jaate. Salman khan’s first success with great album.
Baaghi- Another salman khan movie. The music is by anand milind. All the songs were great and worth listening over again, kaisa lagta hai and ek chanchal shokh haseeena one of my fav sangs are the best from the lot sung by abhijeet.
11. Pardes- one of the greatest album by music directors laxmikant pyarelal, kumar sanu shines in the song do dil mil rahe hai magar chupke chupke and sonu nigam does his best in the song yeh dil deewana hai yeh dil, a great album.
- Kaante- The music is by ananad raj anand, lucky ali and vishal shekar, The best song on the album is collar ko thoda sa upar chadake sung by none other then apne sanjubaba, shaan and udit narayan and other songs are worth listening again and again, ishq samundar, dil kya kare, chood na re, yaar mangaysi. A great album.
13.Sharaabi- The hit musical score by bappi lahiri, all the songs are great my favorite from the album is manzilein apni jagah par, de de pyar de and intehah ho gayie is probably heard the most. Kishore kumar’s voice, bappi lahiri music and amitabh performance made this movie to remember and the album.
Aur Pyar ho gaya- The music is by the late Nusrat fateh ali khan, The album opens up with another one of my favorite songs, Meri sanson mein basa hai tera hi ek naam the best on the albumOther songs include ek din kahin, sitara aankhen, humse rahogey kya hamesha khada and kaisa yeh pyar hai allah alaah.
Betaab- Sunny deol’s first movie which was a hit mainly due to the hit musical score and acting by sunny and prem chopra. The music was by r.d. burman The song jab hum jawan hongey still remixed today, but my favorite from the album is parwaton se aaj mein takra gaya sung by shabbir kumar and other great songs include apne dil se badi dushmani ki, teri tasveer mil gayie and badal yun garajta hai.
Jaab pyar kisi se hota hai- Another hit album by jatin lalit, Kumar sanu again comes off with one of his best song oo jaana na jaana yeh dil tera deewana, other songs are madhosh dil ki dhadkan, pehli pehli baar, dil mein basake.
17. Kahoo na pyar hai- I love this album especially cause of two songs sung by lucky ali, na tum jano na hum, and ek pal ka jeena which got lucky ali his award for best singer. Other good songs include kahoo na pyar hai, chand sitaare etc. The music is by rajesh roshan his best work so far.
Sadak- The music is by nadeem sharavan- The best song on the album is hum tere bin kahin reh nahin paatey sung by manhar das and anuradha paudwal, other songs are tumhe apna banane ki kasam, jaab jaab pyar pe pehra hua hai etc.
GUPT- The music is by viju shah The best song on the album is duniya haseeno ka mela and other songs mere sanam, gupt gupt, bechainiyaan tanhaiyaan, very good album worth listening again and again.
Barsaat- This is the one realeased in 1995, the music is by nadeem sharavan, the best song on the album is humko sirf tumse pyar hai sung by kumar sanu and rest are Nahin yeh ho nahin sakta, ishq mein ek pal, love tujhe love etc. great album
