This is a review on 10 of my favourite songs, not 20. since I could not find any productten best hindi songs, I have to choose this one. Please bear with this.
This time I have taken up a topic, which is somewhat, related to god’s beautiest creation in the world ‘Music’. Somebody has said ‘music is a sweet addiction from which one never wants to recover’. It is something when touches your heart, it seems that there are no pains in the life and if any can be fought out. Really it is very difficult to live without it.
Coming back up to the main point of the review. It’s a review on 10 of my favourite songs but in a bit different way. Yeah prizes are to be won but not any ‘worth Rs….’. The contest is very simple. I am giving here 1 line each from 10 of my favourite songs, not 10 favourite songs. There are so many good songs that it is very difficult to choose favourite 10. You have just to identify the songs and its singers. Since it is my 6th review, the first 6 members who will give the right answers will find their names in my trust list. This is only what I can give as a member of mouthshut. I know it’s nothing great here but still it’s a new concept, it’s for music lovers. Everybody loves music and so I hope everybody will enjoy taking part in it even if they do not win the prize. These 10 songs are very close to my heart and I have also given some hints in every song for your ease. Remember the answers are to be given in the comments section with the line by which the song is known and its singer. So your time starts now:
1) HUM TO LOOT GAYE KHADE HI KHADE: I wish I could have written the music of this song in words. It has been so well sung by the singer that it touches your heart from deep within each time you hear the song. After hearing this song hum bhi lut gaye khade hi khade. A female playback singer who is neither my favourite Shreya Ghoshal nor the great Lata Mangeshkar has sung the song. It’s neither Asha Bhonsle nor Alka yagnik. The song belongs to the film released in 90’s and whose hero is Arvind Swamy. It has been sung by either Chitra or Anuradha Paudwal. Now it’s very easy to guess. No more hints.
2) HUM DONO TANHA HO, NA KOI BHI RAHE IS GHAR ME: Another classic by another female singer. I really can’t concentrate on any other thing when this song starts falling on my ears. The singer is not so popular but this song is very much and is deserves to be. She is not among any of the singers mentioned in the first song. Don’t worry I’m not going to tell her name in this one. Two heroes are there in this film and one is Saif Ali Khan. The music has been given by Harish Jayaraj. Guess it.
3) YEH PAL HAI APNA, TO IS PAL KO JEELE: Female playback singers are ruling my list. This has been sung by my favourite singer. How can I forgfet to leave this song. It is closest to my heart. This song won her many awards also. It was picturised on the hot Bipasha Basu. I think I am making it a bit easy for you people. Very less hints from the next one.
4) DIN BHI NA DUBHE, RAAT NA AAYE, SHAAM KABHI NA DALE: Very sweet song from very sweet movie and picturised on very sweet girl Rani. This, I believe, is the best of the songs sung by this singer who is also a female. She has also sung a song from the film KUCH NA KAHO together with Shaan. Find it out.
5) KABHI HAI ISHQ KA UJALA, KABHI HAI MAUT KA ANDHERA: Finally a male enters the list. This singer has a very good voice. He has sung some very classic songs. He is currently a judge in a T.V music competition. This pooja bhatt film flopped miserably in the box-office. Yaad aaya?
6) KAL KOI THA YAHI, AB KOI BHI NAHI: One of the best songs of Sonu Nigam from one of my best films. It’s a sad song. This was really a stunner from Sonu Nigam.
7) JAISE BIRHA KI RUT MAINE KATI, TADAP KE AAHE BHAR-BHAR KE: This is the first old song in my list. It has been sung by the great Kishore Kumar. This song is also very close to my heart. I hear it once every week.
8) YAADON MEIN TEREE KHOYEE, RAATON KO MAIN NA SOYEE: The line itself indicates whether it’s sung by male or female. This is the only song in the list, which is not in my computer. I am searching for it, you also search which song is this.
9) TERI YAADON KE SAAYE ME GUJREGI YEH ZINDAGI: It’s a duet song. The male singer of this song is Mohammed Salamat. You have to answer the name of only female one. This a song from a film of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
10) AUR BHI KUCH HAI DIL KE IRADE KYA KEHNA: Don’t worry its not a song from the film Kya Kehna. It’s a very famous song and has been sung by the same singer who sung the 8th no. song.
EK PHUL NE EK PHUL SE PHIR KAAN ME KUCH KAHA. Don’t worry, you need not to answer this one. It’s the song chori-chori jab nazrein mili. Another awesome song from the film Kareeb but unfortunately not in the above list. Apart from the answers, don’t forget to leave your opinions on my choosen songs.
It seems to be very beautiful day today. It’s a Sunday, raining outside and I here listening 10 of my favourite songs.
