Every one have their own favourites, here are mine that actually makes me sad everytime I hear them, or you can say I listen to these songs when I am really sad and want to forget the world and just remember some good times of my life. I won’t list the one’s already listed in other reviews though they too are my favourites.

Lovely song sung by Hemant kumar .
2> Chain se humko kabhi aapne jeene naa diya,
Jehar bhi chaha agar, peena to peene naa diya.
3> Jhonka Hawa kaa aaj bhi
Movie: hum dil de chuke sanam
4> Betab dil ki, Tamanna yehi hai
tumhe chaenge, tumhe poojenge, tumhe apna Khuda hum banayenge
Movie: Don’t remember
5>Sheesha ho yaa dil ho, aakhir toot jaata hai
Movie: Asha
6> Do Nainaa ek kahani, Thoda sa badal thoda sa paani aur ek kahani
Movie: Masoom
Since I was a very young girl, this song always made me cry, rest of the songs I understood only after I got at this stage of my life that I realised how deep the meaning is, and how much pain is each words of those songs.
7>Tum Itna jo muskura rahe ho, kya gum hai jo tum chupa rahe ho
Movie: Arth
Jagjit Singh ofcourse! Pick any of his songs and you feel it from the bottom of your heart, that pain in the voice.
8>Maai ree, Main kaase kahoon peed, Apne jiya ki
Movie: Dastak
Madan Mohan’s voice and this song, Wonderful
9> Kesariya Balma, Mohe Banwari Bole log
naa main jeetii naa mariyo re
Birha mara rog re.
Movie: Lekin
I dont realliy know how to explain these beautiful compositions. you just have to listen to them.
10> Do dil toote, do dil haare
Movie: Heer Ranjha
