My Twenty Best Hindi Tragic Songs would be:
1) Chale Aaj Jahan the:- from the film UDHAN KHATOLA.sure I agree with Rekh for this is the BEST tragic song of all times.with Rafi at his mightiest best.
2) Koi Humdum Na Raha:- from the film Jhumroo.who can forget this immortal Kishore Kumar(KK) number in the film where he sang, wrote, produced, directed, story by himself.this song is also often referred to as the Tribute to Kishore Kumar.
3) Jalte hain Jiske Liyeh:- forgot the films name, nevertheless one of the Talat Classik
4) Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein: Kabhi Kabhi.Indeed a Mukesh classic, truly brilliant,
5) Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogee:- from the film Mr X in Bombay, another KK classic.simply magnificient sung when he was remorsing the heroines absence.
6) Din Dhal Jaaye:- from the film Guide, Rafisaab in a terrific soul warming mood.
7) Tute hue khwaabon ne, humko ye sikhaayaa hai - Madhumati
Another gem from the Rafisaab chest, hats off to Him.
8) Zindagii ke safar mein gujar jaate hain jo makaam -Aapki Kasam:- Must go down as one of the most complete songs in the great topic reveller called LIFE, teaches an immense lot of lesson.GREAT Kishore Kumar number.
9) Dekhi Zamaane Kee Yaari: from the film Kaagaz ke Phool.Rafisaab alongwith Guru Dutt chokes our throat to new heights.What a singer Rafisaab, My Hats off to Him.
10) Aaye Tum Yaad Mujhe from the film Mili.well again a great Amitabh Bachchan looking out of the window thinking about Jaya Bachchan.
