Difficult Job At hand

It is really a hard work in making the list. It is not the case of my inability of writing long reviews but a case of choosing one band from another it is almost impossible in choosing only 20 from all the possible bands. So do not get hurt or offended when one of your fav. music band is not included.I had to make some tough decisions several bands were taken into considerations and they were short listed.Or It might be just a case of my ignorance i.e a possibility of me not having listened to their albums or not having listened to many of their albums.Several factors were taken into consideration into making up this list, such as how long the band stayed together, no one CD wonders here, originality, influence on their genre, overall listening endurance, my own opinion, etc. Enjoy!

1.Iron Maiden:

The band known for its elegance in playing metal.Ruled the world in 1982 to 1988.No one came near them during this era.Satanic accusations persisted - there was a lot of controversy about occult messages in many bands’ music at the time, normally discovered by playing the offending track backwards. This is what I figured out about one of their songs in Piece Of Mind album a backward message was placed at the start of the track’Still Life’ as a kind of internal joke. Reverse this track, and you will hear drummer McBrain clearly saying’Hmm, Hmmm, what ho sed de t’ing wid de t’ree bonce. Don’t meddle wid t’ings you don’t understand’(I understood this only when one of my friends said about this to me).Thier album covers also indicated’All is Evil and Dark’.

5.  Deep Purple:

Name me one person who hasn’t listened to these guys. It is almost an impossible task that I’ve set to you. Even if you are capable of finishing the task the person named would be found dead. No! I won’t kill him they will suffer death due to suffocation.Despite their association with the sub-genre, Deep Purple have never been a heavy metal band, though many later heavy metal bands cite their influence. The group has frequently changed styles and line-ups over the years, but has always included virtuoso players in its ranks and placed a high priority on musicianship.
