PREAMBLE
Allright . this is MY article and hence MY LIST and my own choices. The list is not complete . there are many songs I like but not there on the list, simply because I am currently addicted to these songs and the other songs are just escaping my mind. I dont mean no harm or disrespect to YOUR favourite band / song if they are not on the list . it is not there on the list . then it must be due to one of the three reasons . 1. I haven’t heard the song 2. I didn’t like it . 3. I was unable to recollect it at the time of compiling this list.
Oh and the list is not hierarchial . its is not in order.

Pluses: great lyrics with artistic intentions and prophecies. Impeccable guitar and commendably sung.
- Pour some sugar on me - Def Leppard
Pluses: Guitar, opening . and the name DEF LEPPARD
- Somewhere I belong - Linkin Park
Pluses: Awesome lyrics and perfection achieved for people trying to live up to the expectation of the success of their previous 2 albums.
4.Brave New World: Iron Maiden
Pluses: Again the trade mark lyrics and guitar work of IM
- Sweet Child Of Mine - Guns N Roses
Pluses: The repeated performances have etched the song in my memory. The fame and ofcourse Guitar work by SLASH
- Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Pluses: Kurt Cobain handling the guitar as if he is a traffic cop in midst of a busy street . hands flying everywhere . wierd lyrics . and the magic with Guitar that Kurt Cobain was masterful at.
- Lithium - Nirvana
Pluses: I love the song thats why it is here . I could have put some other Nirvana song here . but this song as well as The man who sold the world are two exceptional pieces from Nirvana.
- We will rock you - Five and Queen
Pluses: Very few songs come out as good as this one when they are copied by other bands. One reason I feel this song came out good was it had the original members of Queen associated with the song.
- Born in the USA: Bruce Springsteen
Pluses: Very powerful and vocal lyrics about the singers feeling about the war. Bruce Springsteen with his beloved guitar.
- American Pie - UNKNOWN
Pluses: The song I am refering to here is not the one by Madonna. I am refering to the older one, who sung it? I am afraid I cannot recollect . when I do I am going to edit the review. The lyrics are very deep, very controversial and all I could notice was the VOICE . drowns u . worth listening . Thanks yahoo music launchcast for this one.

- Fuel - Metallica
Pluses: Highly charging aura associated with the song . pure magic of metallica
- Asche Zu Asche - Rammstein
Pluses: Screen presence and presentation of rammstein, Guitar solo in the middle is timed very perfectly.
- LINKS 2-3-4 - Rammstein
Pluses: The language of music speaking volumes, music very rammstein like. The song was in answer to them being branded as fascists and nazis . humm . unfair . totally unfair . and the answer to it is perfectly presented.
- Smoke on the water - DEEP PURPLE
Pluses: The fame, the chorus part and all .
- The Wickerman - Iron Maiden
Pluses: Trademark Iron Maiden guitar work . and presentation.
- 18 in life - Skid Row
Pluses: Soulful, well penned lyrics . and the TM rock work. A true gem of a song.
- Hotel California - Eagles
Pluses: This is one song I love to hear to relax. This has great guitar work. The 12string just hypnotizes you. The Eagles had this charisma in them to produce something which would never feel unworthy to listen to.
- Californication - Red Hot Chilly Peppers(RHCP)
Pluses: The song has a pretty catchy lyrics and the guitar tabs are just fabulous.
- Bring Me to Life - Evanescence
Pluses: The song is sung in a very mesmerising tone. The girl’s voice will carry you some place else. The pacing of song is very nice. In all a good listening.
Whew the list is complete . and it took a lot of racking my brains to come up with this .
