Magic of Pancham and Kishore kumar.RDB always favoured Kishore Kumar as one can see most of his hits feature Kishore.I always associate RDB with melody.He is the King of melody.The present musicians have somewhat forgot what melody is!
Saagar jaise aankhon vaali yeh to pata tera naam hai kya is an excellent example of perfect mix of melody and beautiful lyric writing.I especially like the tune of,

When I heard this song for the first time this song made me feel uncomfortable.the composition is somewhat different.but on repeated hearing this melody number is sure to create a big impact on listeners.
Kishore Kumar is as usual terific.It makes me wonder how Pancham produced these kinds of fantastic tunes.

The tune is marvellous but its the lyrics by Majrooh which elevates this song.
Mohammad rafi is truly awesome.must hear this song.

what a song! In the film dil vil pyar vyar they recreated pancham songs and this magnificent song was topping the charts.
So what does this tell? People still love pancham tracks he is truly amazing.
A very energetic track and rafi with asha are perfect for this song.the lyrics are truly awesome.
