This is my choice of worst 20. Let me start with Kavita Krishnmoorthy’s worst. This lady screeches way to much and at times I find her songs very jarring and noisy. Sridevi has been an unfortunate victim most of the time in getting her voice and also in getting some really B grade songs in all her films.
1.Koi bataaye, samaj mein na aaye ke kya hai ye pahli
Remember that bhoot song in Chaalbaaz where Kavita screems’Geeeli Geeeeeli, Geeeeeeeli.’ I cant bear her high pitched screams anymore, and in Devdas I felt the new singer Shreya was miles better than Kavita.
2. Babuji zara dheere chalo
the item number in Dum. I just hated the woman in the song(whoever she is, Lakhme model or some yana gupta or whoever). It was extremely vulgar, so was the entire song with the female voice singing like a eunuch.
3.Ladki deewwani dekho ladka deewana
this was a song in sunil shetty’s movie which also had the song’kya ada kya jalwe tere paaro’, dont remeember the movie name.The above mentioned song was sung by our very own now popular Sunidhi chauhan when she was 15 or so. very bad voice and music. Sunidhi just couldnt shift from low tunes to high tunes then, and the whole attempt was very un-proffessional and noisy.
4. Novel padha, haan padha, kaisa laga?
This one was in aaja meri jaan by another screech of a singer Anuradha. About the novel, I dont know, but song to bahut bekaar laga
5. kamariya lachke re, babu zara bachekere
Twinkle who has two left feet’also pretends’ that she has two left feet in Mela with Anuradha humming in tbe background.
6.mother mother, dear mother.
from mother 98 or 99 or 2000 . Again Anuradha, Again very bad.
7.aisa pyaar kahan, aisa pyaar kahan
Mohd. Aziz sings this in the movie: aisa pyaar kahan. Just before the song he was slapped hard on both cheeks, so he is crying parallely as he is singing. Those of you who didnt hear it have been lucky.
8.nachunga to naachoge tum, gaauna to gaavoge tum
remember akki’s first movie? Dancer? this is S.P Balasubramanium at his worst.
9. yeh sapno ne baaarataen mujhe. Aaaa hhh Aaah Aaaachhhhii lagti hai.
S. Jaanki croons and Sneeezes Achhi accccccchiii.with S.P.B in Hifazat. I hope no one composes such tunes anymore.
10. Nigodi kaisi jawani hai, yeh baat sune na meri
pop album by Ila arun. Has anyone seen the song? Where were the censors then? or is it that Censors only chop scenes from films. Ela Arun’s all time worst in terms of lyrics, music and song.
11.Guttar Guttar, chad gaya uppar re
Ela Arun, again aaahhh . the cruelty of destiny that you made Ela a singer in hindi films.
A very bad song in terms of music, tune and lead voice again.
12.Kaan ke neeche baja dunga mein
eeks.what the hell are the lyrics all about?
that the first thought that came to your mind right? this is from the film chor machayee shor(new).
Sung by Vinod rathod very crudely without any rhythm or sense.

sanjay dutt, macho guy with unbearable voice
14. meri gali mardon ka aana jaana band hai
hema malini in movie Indira, a typical case of Peacock.
15.dekho baarish ho rahi hai
annu mallik, a desperate singer who tries to push his voice into many of his compositions leaving people with no choice to accept it or reject it.
16.Bhappi Lahiri’s tamma tamma loge tamma.
First and foremost he copies a song, makes a mincemeat of it, then has the guts to give it his own voice and also calls Anuradha to add to the discordant noise. Kya hoga is music industry ka.
17.rang bhare baadal se
this is from Chandni. All is well when Jolly Mukherjee starts the song. but when Sri baby comes in and goes: bin pooche yeh kaam kiya, tumne mujhe badnam kiya. then the song becomes awful to bear.
18.Ok this is about this irriating kid, Aditya Narayan
I found his voice very pathetic in rangeela.when he goes.’arrrrrreeeeeeeeeee yaarrrrro merrrrrre paas to aavao, meerrrrrrri mushik duurrr bhagao’ Also in pardes and some other films that he sang including the famous’chota bachaaa jaanke mujho.’
I hate to comment on a child’s voice.
but His voice is very loud and tuneless even for a child and he gets all the chances only due to papa Udit.
Hope he grows up to be a better singer.

19. jab jab tujho dekha dil mastana hoagaya Kumar shanu at his ’nosestrils closed’ best
This song was from meera ka mohan. there was also one song which he sang for Mithun in the movie Dalaal. I dont remember the lyrics now. kumar shanu had his nose held tightly with his fingers before belting out the numbers.
I dont know who are the morons who find his voice resembling Kishore Kumar’s voice.
20. esscuse me, kya re
worse than a typical tapori song. Even a character playing the role of a drunkard or a goonda will look better for this song. I cant imagine how they decided to picturize it on a Hero. Absolutely devoid of any Class.
