February 2010 it was. The last few days before exams and before being declared as certified Graduates. We were round about 45 students wanting to have a good and a decent Farewell for ourselves. After searching for more than 20 restobars in Mumbai we finally came to one destination, Twister it was.
There were two people from my class who went on checking the whole place and the cost etc for the same, the others did not know anything about it. So, there came the day when we had our farewell, what we proudly call “Our Day” ;).
All of us gorgeously dressed, reach Twister and we have a grand welcome.
The place is small, cosy, concise but very well planned, sitting arrangement, bar space; DJs corner and a screen for the ones who are not interested in dancing.
About Twister:
The Ambiance: The ambiance is no different from any other disc, and I think its rather better to have discs with some similarity, or else it doesn’t look like one. the lighting is done very intelligently. The very fact that it has a screen makes it pretty good for all bored of dancing.
The Music: I think the DJ rocked while we were there. He somehow knew our taste. Overall the DJ was very good at his work.
The Food: The food is very good, they kept their promise of serving unlimited starters. More importantly, there were new dishes to try, it wasn’t the usual starters that that any would expect. So for me it was a good eating experience. And their chocolate brownie for dessert just rocked.
The Bar: Now comes the main part ;). The bar of Twister Pub and Lounge just rocked big time. They had everything that we wanted, the bar tenders were excellent at their job, in all they had what we needed.
Well as of yet, my farewell is over and we are planning our Reunion and we are definitely going back to Twister. :)
