On the August 29th, at 1:10 AM, I received a tweet from Paulo Coelho. He said, … Well, I shall copy/paste the statement which he sent.
“Don’t try to be safe when you write. Just be honest, because truth protects you”.

*Social networking site:
* ===============
Once upon a time in India where people were falling over Orkut Buyukkokten’s philosophy which led many to communicate where the communication itself had different meanings. Few people you knew on the page and the rest were perfect strangers. While revealing facts and fantasies, I came into a conclusion that all that glitter is not the same as you see in a mirror. When you see yourself in mirror, the perfection never replaces with another ‘object’ or ‘person’. That’s life… Everybody wants to be somebody…
Alas, everyone gets caught up with the same old problem called as depression… Depression… that kills, for sure…
I was a member of almost all the social networking sites… But… all that experience led me to the same pit… I never had privacy… There were hardly people who asked if I’m ill or well… sometimes it really hurts when we get to see people interacting each other when we stand and stare without letting them know how badly we are hurt… Hey, it’s all okay! It’s all fine! I, being the beholder, took a rash decision to detach myself from all the social networking sites, until mouthshut came up with the idea to update us through twitter. Twitter… What’s that?
When the heart and mind battled around, I sat in a corner, sipping my cappuccino thinking how different this website could be, since, friends were always important to me. But, at the same time, I wanted to keep only those people whom I interact with on a daily basis.

*About Twitter:
=======
I created my account with twitter never knowing that I was going to be completely satisfied with the website for its ease of use and pleasing design. The time I logged in for the first time, was as confusing as how I felt when I joined face book(I’m no more on face book).
You see, there is a box. Like, we have on Orkut or Mouthshut. It’s called as Status box. All we can do is just to update our status. It’s like an SMS, which of course, get it delivered in your mobile inbox provided you are registered with it. Since I’m currently in Saudi Arabia and failed to get it registered with, I fail to contribute more information on this service.
The second day, I logged in to twitter to see if I can survive in there without any prejudice or pride from different corners of the world. Surprisingly, I was comfortable not bothered to go through my friends profile for their latest photos and all that. The website is as simple as you could ever imagine. There are no photo albums… No testimonials… No spam(Compared to other social networking sites)…
All you got to do is to FOLLOW others… To know what they are up to…
====
*Features:
====
Profile: A place where you can update with a short profile information.
Find People: This place is where you find that box to search for your friends, make friends or also can be depended upon Twitter’s suggestion.(I did find Paulo Coelho this way)
Settings: A place where you can set your SMS function, making tweets private etc, etc…
Following: When you find a person on twitter, there is nothing like we have on Orkut or Face Book to add him/her in our list but, to FOLLOW.
Followers: This is the sweet place where you will find who all are following you.
Direct Messages: This feature will help you to send personal messages to the person in your Follower list.
Trending Topics: This is seen on the home page where you can search for any topic that you are interested in.

*What is a Tweet?
==========
Tweet in my limited knowledge, is something like a reply to our status message. The box says “What are you doing?”. When we update our status message, those friends in our Following list will be updated with the same message. They can reply on to the very message which will be received by the other person.
This has to be the simplest review I have ever penned down. It’s not because I have been on twitter for such a long time… But, it’s the simplest portal I have seen for communication that made me review it as simple as it is. I was dazed and confused in the beginning. But time teaches us everything and here I’m with a smile that may spread positive energy to trust upon this social networking site, for being so simple and effective in use.
All I see turns to gold… when I turn back and look those beautiful faces that I have met on twitter, ill smile. I want to cherish them for the rest of my life… Yes, Ill.
