Could you guys please come up with a strategic approach to avoid all these issues in the future. If you truly value me as a customer and take feedback seriously, then I would like to see this being implemented in Uber cabs:
1) Completely remove cash payment facility from all Uber passengers apps and make it a strict no cash payment policy for passenger as well as Uber drivers. We are living in a digital world and 90% of the population travelling with Uber uses UPI as mode of payment.
2) Place Uber companys scanner on dashboard of each car so that customer can only scan Uber companys scanner and make the payment. Once customer scans and make the payment a screenshot or payment receipt should be automatically uploaded on your app.
3) If drivers are live on duty, when they turn on Uber app and accept the ride, automatically Uber app shouldnt allow and block any other app such as Google Pay or PhonePe to run in the background and accept payment from the customer.

Put a scanner on drivers Uber app so that the payment directly comes to Uber account, once payment is made via drivers scan code in Uber account payment receipt should automatically be uploaded in Uber app, this way you would know if driver has asked the customer to directly pay into his account via UPI.
4) Assign Uber own phones tracking to driver when they join Uber, so that they only have Ubers system operating on the phone or build a gadget like POS Card machine like how people can pay for Black Cabs in London, they have card option also QR code scanner that also prints out the receipt. To save printing paper, again once payment is made by customer receipt can be digitally shared in customers trip profile/activity.
Hope these points are valuable, kindly pass this onto your management and I hope to see these being implemented in 3 months time. If not I will be publicizing by creating a video on YouTube and News Channels so that the whole world is aware of how pathetic of a company Uber has become due to hiring unprofessional drivers.
My feedback and above mentioned points are logical and can easily be implemented only if you as a company is willing to get better and save your brand name to survive in the market.
