My first day with Uber cabs was a mixed experience. First things first, it is a premium cab service, and you have to download their app in order to book cabs. It is all done dynamically depending on the cab’s availability nearby, using your phone’s GPS. So, in my first try, there were no cabs available. Hence, there were a few curses exchanged, as I was banking on them entirely. But later in the night, I decided to give them a chance again, and to my surprise one of the cabs did show up, and that too in 5 mins.The driver was courteous and experience was super smooth.
Would definitely recommend it as one can check instantly whether a cab is available nearby. However, they should seriously consider increasing their their fleet size.
