I had a bitter experience with Uber on 11th April. From Chennai 600044 to Chennai 600024, I traveled and a round trip. The same distance and that is not peak hours also(12:43pm was my first ride and return was 5.10pm) For the first ride I was Charged Rs.256, but for the return I was charged Rs.372. I asked the driver about the price difference evenif I traveled the same distance.
The first driver Mr.Madhialagan had shown me the start trip option and then onlyhe started the trip. But the second driver Mr.Subramanian started the trip before come to my place. No waiting charges for both. When I asked about this to the second driver, he was so rude and did not answer me.
I have written a mail to Uber, after 6 days I received an irresponsible mail from an irresponsible executive that they will enquire about this. But still I did not receive the update from them. The highlight of this complaint is, "There is no call center" to uber for any issues faced by the customer. Only mail, that too we wont get proper reply. Our money will be gone. I never recommend Uber evenif they have given lot more offers.
