Uber is the most unprofessional company which treats customers very badly. It is only interested in making money out of Indian customers without providing any safeguard whatsover. I have had my share of incidences where uber overcharged me by ultimately charging me more than the displayed fare at the time of booking even though there was no route change or time taken for the ride to complete. Even for pool rides it charged me more by adding a some discount to the fare and enhancing the fare than to reduce the same! yes uber adds discounts to customer fare meaning it overcharges. All my complaints werent resolved. Last week it deducted balance from Paytm wallet for a ride which never happened and its been 10 days now since I raised the matter on the app and even after 5 reminders they have not reverted back except the computer generated reply once. I advise all of u to delink your wallets from uber coz there is no safeguard of OTP like ola which prevents unscrupulous uber and its drivers from showing that ride is ongoing while actually they are not even at the pick up. INspite of showing all evidence to uber, uber has a devil may care attitude. I think uber should be taken to court. It doesnt have a phone number even to complain. Whats more funny is that the more I send reminders to them to refund the wrongly deducted amount to my wallet the more it reduced my rating. Anyway it doesnt affect me coz I have stopped using uber. All I want right now is my money back or I will complain to the competition commission of India and consumer court. I urge all of u since wallet authorization and ride starting is without otp uber and its drivers can siphon your money. Even if it deducts few thousands wallets a day in this manner fathom the amount it will make. CHEATS.
I think the Government should not allow uber without an office in India where they can be served indian court notices any longer in India.
