On Sunday 30-7-17 for a trip from Cuffe Parade to Bandra, the driver asked for Rs.415.58 and I paid him Rs.420/-.
When I received the Uber receipt by email it showed a charge of Rs.63/- as toll charges when we did not take the Sea Link route at all. The driver had taken the Mahim Church route. This is clearly shown on the map of the route taken for the trip.
When I asked Uber for a refund of Rs.63/- they have said that the north-bound route includes toll charges. In spite of my saying I did not take the toll route they have not refunded the Rs.63/- wrongly charged to me.
Hence, please be aware of this Taxi Service which cheats passengers. It is not the overcharge of Rs.63/- that irks me, its the ethics.
