Yesterday as soon as I arrived from Mysore at Bangalore City Railway station, I opened my Uber app and tried to book a cab for the first time. Unknowingly I choose Uber Black for my journey. With in a period of 30Sec, the details of the Vehicle and the driver flashed on my mobile.
Its a Innova vehicle and then I realised that I have choosed the Uber black but still I went ahead. I just called up the driver and he said he will be their in 8-10 minutes. By the time we came out from Back entry of Platform(Exit from 8th Platform), the Cab arrived in front of us.
The driver was very nice person, he helped us in loading our luggage(ofcourse two small suitcases) into the vehicle. He also took the shortest route from City Station to Yelahanka. The car was clean and the ride was smooth.
The final thing was more surprising. As soon as we got out of the cab, the bill arrived on my mobile saying its Rs 35. Yes its just Rs 35 for 16.5 Kms. Very surprised and checked the bill.
It was showing as total bill 447, and discounts 111Rs as 25% discount+ 300 Rs for a credits I had in my account. Wow, that the surprising trip. Great.
Even without discounts, I see the price is less when compared to other AC vehicles on the same route.
