Very bad and unexpected experience with UberEats.


If you guys are reading this, then I would like to suggest you first to never ever use this app, which doesn’t have an instant support giving customer service.


The UberEats app is very buggy, I faced too many bugs while using this app and this service.


UberEats just wasted my last few hours and still, the payment is pending with them.


While ordering from UberEats, sometimes they people will confirm your order and will get it picked by the delivery boy but after half an hour to 45 minutes, you will be seeing a message on screen "Your order has been canceled, please order another one"


What? Has the order been canceled?


What about my past 45 minutes?


No problem, I will order another one - but how? UberEats will show a message - "Issue with your payment option"


Now, do you know guys what will happen? To fix this issue, we have to pay some amount to Uber eats, and then they will fix this issue and will let us order a new one.


How come a firm like Uber is providing such a bad experience to the users?


Important thing to consider and remember before expecting something from these worst food delivery service provider are listed below


1.First, you will waste your precious 15-20 minutes in selecting a mouthwatering dish(Obviously, we love exploring something new, so it will take 15 minutes in selecting the dish we want)


2.You will pay for the order(Or will waste another 5 minutes if expecting coupons from UberEats)


3.Now, after the completion of the payment, it will take another 3 minutes in confirming your order from the restaurant


4.Wooh, the order has been confirmed, resulting with the wastage of another 30 minutes in preparing your food at the restaurant


5.Now, the delivery boy will pick your order and you will be waiting for the order - and after estimated delivery timings(i.e, 45 minutes) you will be getting a notification on your phone -The order has been cancelled, please order another one (This will be resulting with the wastage of another 5 minutes because you will be wondering why the order is canceled and will be checking the cancellation reason and the payment and another stuff)


Message to UberEats - It really sounds cheap when you don’t mention a small sorry with the cancellation message


6.And here is the worst part - You will be trying contacting UberEats but you know what? You will waste your another 10 minutes in contacting them because they have the worst customer support department that will help you over an email or over a text feedback through the application(So, we have to waste our another 5-10 minutes in explaining to those guys that this is how I faced the problem with my order)


{Ask yourself, do you guys have time to write an email to those guys and to get your own money back even after getting an issue from their side}


[So we have to waste our another 15 minutes in explaining the issue and requesting the refund that is actually our money, being sucked due to the bugs in their service]


7.The funniest part, you will be sitting in front of your computer screen wasting another 20-30 minutes in posting reviews for these stupid service providers.


8.You will be copying this message and will be sharing this to most of the platforms to make other people aware of this worst service(this will take approximately 20 minutes in spreading this message to guest reviewing websites such as this one)


Conclusion and quick analysis(Or say, summary)


Total time wasted(in minutes) - 20+5+3+30+45+10+15+30+20=178 minutes(i.e., Approx 3 hours)


So please spend this time and money into giants like Swiggy, Foodpanda, and Zomato who have an excellent customer support team


Support executives on swiggy, foodpanda and zomato replies usually within 3 minutes and these giants also have a chat support wherein a query is replied within 2 minutes.


Look, guys, I am a working professional and I haven’t got this much amount of time in wasting my precious and lovely Sunday, but I am writing this message because I don’t want other peoples to get frustrated with this kind of applications and services


PS - Uninstalling the app from my phone and not expecting the refund of the amount that is sucked with the app
