My review is for the Udupi Grand hotel in yelahanka new town near the mother diary cross. There are no good hotels in yelahanka new town so this one came as a blessing to all who craved for some quick bites.
This is a typical Bangalore darshini hotel and its self-service only. They have got lot of options in south indian items like varieties of dosa’s, idli, vada, mangalore buns, goli baje, etc. You get north indian food too in the afternoon and night. Gobi munchrian is a fast moving item here.
Evenings you get chats.
The only thing is that they put a lot of oil in all their items. Taste of the food is okay, nothing great but for a reasonable price and a quick bite its fine.
Just next to this hotel there is another one named’Vandana Gardenia’ which is an Andhra Style restaurant where you can sit and order. Along with veg they serve non-veg food here. I have not been here so do not know how the food is. Both the hotels seem to be jointly owned.
The same brand of hotel is there near Kogilu Cross.
