This is probably one of the landmarks in Balepet, Bangalore. This restaurant is a classic old time restaurant that has been recently infused with new style interiors. The management has also added a self service wing in the past 5 years or so. The interiors are extremely clean (considering the dirt and dust that is an integral part of this area), and the staff is very professional. The food served here is vegetarian food only, and it is a classic. Been established here since 1926. Family owned and operated, it is down to the third generation of management. Recently, opened a branch in Koramangala. Never been to that restaurant, but I am guessing it still has the same class. A must visit for any true food connoisseur. The management has recently changed the interiors, and added a self service wing. Walk around Balepet, and ask anyone where this restaurant is, and I bet people will tell you stories about this restaurant.
They have recently opened a lodge too, and I would like to write a review about it, if I had the chance. Considering the management’s efficiency, I am sure the lodge is also a very good one, at decent prices.
A must visit.
