Finally, more than 10 days later I got to see Uuf Kya Jadoo Mahobbat Hai...and my happiness knew no bounds!! Last time such a thing happened was when saw Jaani Dushman... (Though the stories are different!!)
After the animated science fiction movie Mein Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, which was inspired from their own Chitchor, Rajshri banner came up with this amazing movie Uuf Kya Jadoo Mahobbat Hai which is inspired from n number of movies!!!Atleast it seemed so!.. So, which are the movies you can relate some part of the movies to? Here goes!
Raja Hindustani
Karisma Kapoor with an inch-wide eyebrows wants to go to Palankhet ?coz its the place where her parents met! And, in UKJMH Pooja Kanwal, i.e. Pari wants to go some college in Simla where her mother studied!!
Ham Scene - Pari goes to college to find a banner ??Students we are proud of??.. and they have pictures of just 8 students!! In 75 years, they are proud of just 8 students!! My school and college will also be proud of me if I join politics.. My symbol will be hood of a snake and the slogan will be ??Naag ka haath, Aam khaate aadmi ke saath??(Hand of a snake is with the person who eats mangoes)

SRK and Karisma(again!) perform musical shows.. best friends... accident... female unable to dance... Madhuri asked to dance.. same sequence!! Pooja is Madhuri, Sameer is SRK and weird female is Karisma!!

What a movie to get inspiration from!! ??Yeh lo Pooja, yeh haar meri maa ki nishani hai??... ??ab to yeh haar mein sab ke saamne party mein hi penhungi!!??.. Remember the ??Oh my darling I love you... ?? sequence in MDK??.. Know what? I love these Khandani Kangan and Haar scenes.. I?m sure I?ll marry someone who will have a Khandani Aghori Baba
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Ishq Vishq, Barsaat(Remember this one?? Bobby and Twinkle?
The same ??cool?? college scenes.. the ??hep?? groups and all.. that other guy who wanted to marry Pooja is extremely ugly!! And the regular rich girl - poor boy, rich family friend wants his son to marry the girl.. and tries to badmouth the boy.. but the girl?s trust and faith wins!!.. (If I don?t join politics, I might direct a movie!!)
As a debut movie, acting wise they are okay.. but both the actors look too young...specially the guy.. he looks as if he is just out of his 12th boards!! Look at Sohail Khan as a college guy!:D.. hehehe(Kidding...)
As far as Music is concerned.. It?s really slow.. it doesn?t have peppy beats.. except one or two.. which I don?t remember the wordings.. hehe
Being a Rajshri Productions... it lacked a lot of things.. like..
... a nagging mother.. like Himani Shivpuri or Reema Lagoo.
