It is a very humorous and crazy series but basically a love story of two totally unlike people brought together by a force-U F O Baby.
Miyu and Kanata’s life takes a plunge into the craziest of situations when they are forced to live together as Miyu’s parents go to America to pursue her mother’s dream to fly in space and Kanata’s father goes on a pilgrimage to attain’enlightment’.(If he was enlightened enough, he wouldn’t leave two teenagers alone in the house with only a trusted friend to look after them once in a while.Oh well) As if the embarassment of living together was not enough, a Ufo lands into their house carrying an alien baby and its nanny, who got lost and until the rescue ship from their planet does not come, requests them to accomodate both of them in their house. Trying to cover baby Lou(who insists on calling them’Mama’ and’Papa’) true identity, attending school seems like a lot foe these two to do, they have to work together in the craziest of situations which bring them together.
UFO Baby is very entertaining and funny but you can’t honestly have the patience to follow through the series diligently. Agreed, that is very light and funny, there are some episodes that does not live up to its standard. Its worth a try and you won’t be disappointed.
