This movers & packers is same for all and inveterate cheater and follow this motto.
He did the same thing with us and we tried to settle it in calmly manner but unfortunately they don’t believe in customer service, they believe in making money by fraud.
I also escaped in same situation and with the help of police I have not paid a single extra penny apart from the bills I have as they asked to pay unwanted charges on their demand.
Steps to escape:
1) Write an email to the packers & movers with your all proofs and whatever issue you are facing to make a proof of it that you have communicated. Try sending gentle reminder as they are not going to give you reply.
2) Try to record his conversation on phone and cover as much conversation possible.
3) Go to police commisioner/IG office with all proofs of document you have and all mail/recording too. For taking an appointment you need to reach to the police office in morning till 9 am and complete the procedure of taking appointment. Its one day activity. Better call on the specific police commisioner/IG office and ask about the availability of the officer. You can also place an FIR again him as he frauds on the name of policy too. He don’t provide the policy for which he charged. For eg he’ll give you policy for fire/theft coverage that comes 1% of the amount of the luggage you have instead of full accidental coverage which has higher premium rate.
4) Explain your each and every problem in front of the officer and he/she will forward your case to the respected police station. You need to do follow-up.
5) Most important try to find out where is warehouse of Ujjwal packers & movers as they don’t own any warehouse, they use others warehouse on rented basis. For Pune its Nigdi.
