The location is just too tempting esp the open air seating during evenings though traffic noise can be irritating.
We landed there about 8 pm with kids and the place was somewhat dirty with uncleared plates, uncleaned tables and open sacks of onions and potatoes lying in the public area. The lighting in the open area is less than dim, one has to literally poke into the plate to identify it !
I normally relish curd rice in any udipi hotel, so that was my choice, my kids went in for dosa and chinese noodles, and my wife settled for tomato soup.
The order took 20 mins to materialise. except the noodles, rest of the stuff was just lousy. The curd rice were resembling to butter-milk rice with rice floating in white liquid instead in a firm and nicely garnished dahi.
The soup was very thin, sour, too salty and toast pieces were burnt. We could not go beyond few sips, it got wasted.
The noodles were properly made, though portion was less.
The dosa were small and chutney was a liquid and not so freshh
It is a typical mass market food joint but a pricey one.
