For idli dosai grinding it is useful because we have to grind rice and Dal separately. If you grind together we will get worst batter. So I am not able to grind for appam. For the past fifteen years I grind in butterfly and premier tilting by adding Dal+ rice without any problem. Only in elgi I can’t grind like that. Worst for variety batter. Even service person don’t have answer. Enquire from those using it before buying.
