What was Mr Dutta thinking when he decided to remake a classic like Umrao Jaan..nothing I guess and I also believe that he hasn’t seen the original.....coz if he had , he would realise how he has murdered a great movie.
The direction is sloppy, the acting below average, the pace slow and the music which should have been the soul of the movie...is so dull ( mr malik pls go back to doing your best which is " dekho baarish ho rahi hai..its raining its..)
The lead actors have done a miserable job.....aishwarya doesnt have her pronunciations right, she looks beautiful but their is no soul..what rekha could do with her eyebrows ( in ankhon ki masti)...ash dear you dont even come close to that even with a wet wet white outfit .....
abhishek looks very bored looking at aishwarya......... ( thou he looks very hot in most scenes) but aby baby junior u have a very weak looking neck, it looks funny in collarless kurtas. ...please work out and get hotter or atleast in future hide your neck!
Mr Dutta , one should learn the art of killing a movie from you, sorry but by the end of it I was only counting the number of times salaam and ghulam word were used in the movie.
So on a not so happy note all I can say , pls avoid the movie and though I am such a movie buff I couldn’t sit through the entire movie...when abhishek said ghulam for the hundreth time ..i said my salaam and walked away from the movie hall.
