1.ANNIE(Khamoshi_The Musical):A daughter who loves her deaf and dumb parents!A daughter who has lived a very ordinary childhood!A daughter who faced every difficulty of life with courage!A daughter who never ever complained about her life.One such daughter was Annie from Khamoshi_The Musical!She used to smile, she used to cry and she loved her family, even her grandmother who died when she was a child!A character with which you would like to fall in LOVE!
This role was played by Manisha Koirala and she won the Best actress critic FILMFARE award for it!So this is true, that if a character is well-defined, then a star can perform well.Manisha Koirala played ichhadari nagin in Jaani Dushman, and people laughed at her!
2.ANJALI(Kuch Kuch Hota Hai):She knew the true meaning of friendship.All her life, she loved her friend, Rahul.She missed him and even when he was not with him, she loved him!In 8 years, she completely changed herself, but her love for her friend never changed and this was the best thing about this character!She played basketball, was a Tom Boy and suddenly, after 8 years, she changed herself and wore sarre, plus completely forgot how to play basketball!
The role of Anjali was played by Kajol.This was one of her best performance, which made her win the Best actress filmfare award!Kajol acted through her eyes and breathed life into Anjali`s character!
3.Fiza(Fiza):The best sister and daughter, Fiza always loved her mother and brother.She was very strong, firm and courageous!She turned an impossible task into possible, when she found out her lost brother.She was hard-working, intelligent and a no-nonsense kind of a girl!A very sensitive plus emotional girl, was Fiza
Fiza`s role was played by Karishma Kapoor and for the first time she didn`t overact in this film.It was all because of Fiza`s lovely character.A very strong role, in which Karishma didn`t act hyper at all nor she said ’’Haye’’!That is why she won the Best actress FILMFARE award 2000
4.Mumtaz(Chandni Bar):Mumtaz, was a Muslim girl, who came to Mumbai and she was so unfateful, that she had to become a bar dancer.She was very emotional and sad, but with courage, faced every problems and difficulties!By dancing in Bar, she earned money so as to educate her children!She didn`t want her children to be like their parents!
This role of Mumtaz, was played by Tabu, the modern Shabana Azmi.The way she acted, was amazing.She knew, that she got an excellent role, and justified her role very well!She won many awards for this role!
5.Janki(Lajja):Janki was the lady who dared to live life on her own rules!She didn`t fear anyone and was against all odds.She used to drink, loved Shahrukh Khan and said that if men can be so bold, that they can urinate on streets, so why can`t women do so?According to her, women had equal rights!
Janki`s role was played by none other than Madhuri Dixit!Her dialogue delivery and face expressions made this character lively!Janki`s character suited her really well.
These were 5 favourite ladies characters but my others are Riya(Urmila Matondkar-Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya), RaamDulaari(Rekh-Lajja) and Eesha(Kajol from Gupt).
THE 5 VERY IMPORTANT MALE CHARACTERS:
1.MOGAMBO(Mr.India):The villain whome every kid hates!Mogambo was evil, wicked, strange and annoying!He used to scare the hell out of not only children but also adults when he used to say Mogambo Khush Hua
Amrish Puri played Mogambo`s character, and this was his best performance till date.He will always be rembered by this performance!Some elders of mine, call him Mogambo!
2.DEVDAS(Devdas-latest):Desi Romeo, Devdas loved the desi Juliet, Paro, whom he couldn`t marry due to circumstances.He used to drink, in her memory and died on her Mahal`s gate.He was dying to see Paro`s last glimpse before dying.
Shahrukh Khan as Devdas was impressive and won The Best actor FILMFARE and many awards!
3.BHAGAT SINGH(The Legend Of Bhagat Singh):The young, brave man who died for his country, didn`t fear anything!Not even death, because he loved his country and his country was his mother, for which he sacrificed his life.
Ajay Devgan excelled as Bhagat Singh, and won many awards plus compliments!
4.AKASH(Dil Chahta Hai):Akash, was a cool dude, who was very emotional from inner side.He was the favourite of his friends and always remains a favourite character!
Aamir Khan played Akash`s role and his character was appreciated very much!
5.RAJ ARYAN(Mohabbatein):Raj Aryan, was a confident teacher, who taught love to his students and wanted to take revenge from the principal.He never married anyone after the love of his beloved and always felt her presence.
Shahrukh Khan played this role and was brilliant in it, so that is why he won Best actor FILMFARE critics award!
