I booked2 return tickets from Bangalore to Washington by Lufthansa. The Ffrankfurt to Washington and Wahington to Frankfurt on the return journeys were in United. Inspite of booking 3 months in advance my wife and myself did not get even the 2 seats together, let alone getting any aisle seats. In lufthansa we had the option to pick our seats at the time of booking itself on the net. But United did not have any such facility and we landed up with seats in the middle of 5 seats row and on the return journey we did not even get the seats together. This after booking more than 3 months in advance is really unforgivable. The person at the boarding point gave seperate seats to us and had the gall to say that the seats are near though not together. If you can help it do not fly this airline, because they have very funny policies and do not care for their paying passengers.
