I recently met with an accident and wanted to claim my two wheeler. I approached United Insurance to cover my vehicle expenses and all went smoothly. After 3 months, I realized the insurance money has NOT been deposited to my bank account. I called them up and came to realize that I am supposed to submit some other documents regarding the accident as well to proceed. No such requirements were made when I approached United the first time, but then after repeated queries and calls made to the office, I was given the above information. A point to note is that the United Insurance employees were talking to me as if I was supposed to know this without the company letting me know. The experience with United Insurance has been pretty bad to say the least. I will definitely change my insurance to a much better company.
