Considering that we had never moved over 20 miles before outside of Kentucky, we were terrified especially after reading and hearing terrible stories of moving company tactics and bait & switch operations causing unsuspecting customers 2, 3 or 4 times their estimates. We were given United Moving Services information from our nice that moved with them last Month and she had raved about them and we figured no better referral than family. We arranged to have our house packed up and moved on August 6th or the 7th and stored until June 6th or 7th.
Ian and Mark came on the 6th at 8am and began working almost immediately, writing down every piece and snickering every box, they put sticky plastic floor covering down on our carpets, cardboard and padding on our hardwood flooring the whole 9. These 2 men did not stop for a second until everything was wrapped, marked, and loaded which took about 12 hours. June 9th Ian showed up to deliver our things out of storage and unwrapped everything and it was all intact and in the same condition as it left and went into storage, in our opinion, we couldn’t have chosen a better more professional company. If we ever have to move again, we will be using America’s Moving Services and will pass on the good word about them and how they operate.
