I have shifted from Gurgaon to Bangalore 10 days ago. I have enquired 3-4 packages and movers including agarwal, leo and united packager&movers. Although the quotation amount including packing and unloading for agarwal and united packager differ by 5000. I decided to go for united packagers and movers because of low rates and also on my request they agreed for 2 days packing instead of all packing in one day.
But I was under impression that this will give a bit relaxation but something worst was pending. On day first, united packagers came on right time, di some packing and within 2 hours of packing, they said they have to go for some other location and they will come after some time. I had waited for them for 3-4 hours they did not turned up. I called local represntative RAJNEESH to find out why they did not turned up. He has changed his tuned and said they have to go somewhere else also.
When I reminded him that you had promised for 2 days packing. He said we will do packing based upon his experience. I though may be in day 2 they will do packing and they the stuff. My wife told me let them to handle the packing and their timing also.
On day 2 no one has turned for packing upto 2 PM. I called RAJNEESH 5 times to find where are packing guys. He was giving me one to other excuse for the same. At last they came around 3 PM will less number of cartons. I called him that they haven’t bring enough cartons he said it will come along with vehicle. Finally vehicle came around 5pm and my whole packing and unpacking done around 1 AM.
IT WAS HORRABLE EXPERIENCE while PACKING. I THOUGH THINGS WILL BE OVER, BUT PICTURE ABHI BAKI HAI DOST!
After 5 days as commited by RAJNEESH, I called him when are you going to give my stuff. He said you talk to Bangalore Office guy MOHINDER SINGH. I called him to find out my stuff, he said talk to Delhi office. This ping-pong happened for 2-3 days. Finally after 10 days they called me that my stuff has come to somewhere near bangalore(NelMangla), you come to our office and pay money we will deliver the goods at your house. I reminded them that your representative RAJNEESH told me that you will collect money after delivering goods at my apartment and then after unpacking you will charge money. HE said no that is no the way. After arguments which went throughout 1-2 days they finally agreed to deliver my goods.
Once my goods came it has come in horriable conditions. My wife and my daughter clothes worth Rs. 15000 was missing. I have argued for the claim for the same. He said you will write on the delivery receipt someone from insurance company will come and do the helpful for the same.
I gave him the rest of the money. Till date no one has come for insurance claim after fighting daily on phone.
I have one of my WORST EXPERPEIRNECE WITH UNITED PACKAGERS and MOVERS. I WOULD SUGGEST NOT TO GO WITH THIS PACKAGER AND MOVERS.
Some of useful tips while finalizing your package and movers.
Clarrify the mode of payment and Wirte on the delivery receipt that you will pay balance amount on after unpacking the stuff at the below mentioned location.
On the delivery receipt ask for insurance number etc. Write value for each carton.
Ask for which vehicle is going and whether the same vehicle will deliver the stuff if yes, write vehicle number on delivery receipt etc.
Based upon my experience I would suggest you should go for reputed packages only
