I had some issue with my Micromax Aisha phone which I had bought on 13th August2012..the phone used to go blank after 2 rings, so I went to the same store at Phoenix Marketcity Mall, Mahadevpura Bangalore.. The guy Pradeep (who sold the phone to me on 13th August2012) tried to figure out the problem and finally blamed it on the network (Airtel) and hence, changed the sim card to Vodafone and yet could not rectify the issue, so he got hold of another guy Madan (from HTC) and Pradeep asks me "Do you have any APPS in your phone?" and I said "NO" both the guys discussed something and Madan took out the sims and the SD card and did something on the phone and when I asked he informed me that he had reset the phone, and when I asked him did you take messages back up he very casually tells me, Its not possib le to take the back up of texts...This is not true as I had taken a Back Up of my texts on the SD card when I bought this phone, all you need to do is just download an APP from the Android store and all the texts would be copied to your SD card... I had such important texts on my phone, I had some written communication on the phone which is very important & were the only evidences in order to get a refund of 50, 000 rupees for a faulty POS machine... when I informed the manager about this, all he did was apologized, but how will an apology get my money back... As a last resort I have left the phone with UNIVERCELL and the least they can do is to pay back the money of the phone...I know this will not get me back all the valuable information I have lost but atleast would mean some monetary recovery which I have already lost due to the loss of evidences for that faulty POS machine... Guys, can we all pls file a consumer complaint against these guys, who cause unnecessary problems... had that guy told me that my texts would be deleted I would have definitely taken a backup.
