Please take my word for it , never go to univercell for buying mobiles, most of them are mobiles with defects that too never buy the mobile from the online store, worst experience.first of all i bought a mobile (nokia c203)from them 1 year back.after two months i faced a problem with my mobile, so i gave it to them for service, they said that it would take 10 days , after 10 days they said that my mobile was burnt due to an accident that occurred at their service centre , and so i was made to wait for more than 3 months until i got a refund, which is not a full refund but it was a 60% discount voucher on another mobile of the same range of price(can you believe it !only 60 % for no fault of mine)as iam a fool i still accepted that discount instead of filing a case on them, and i bought a micromax a25 smarty from them(along with insurance).
After 2 months, my cell phone was stolen and i went to claim my insurance money and the gave a phone number for me to contact , and that insurance guy was a very arrogant fellow he did not even bother to answer my questions correctly and as a matter of fact i never got any insurance.
And without knowing all these details, it seems that my cousin ordered the same brand of mobile online through univercell online store and he had made the same grave mistake that i made.the required model of mobile was in stock and it was ordered on 28-06-2013 and after two days of ordering the mobile it seems that he has got a message saying that the mobile will be delivered on 05-07-2013
(actually the mobile must be delivered within 7 days) which was the seventh day but the stipulated day has passed and he still did not get the mobile, hence he surfed the internet and found out 4 online inquiry numbers and all the four were switched off or not reachable, so he contacted the showroom to asked about the status of his purchase and just because their company got the money before hand itself , their employees after knowing this detail , started to use abusive language to my cousin and when my cousin shouted back at them and asked them any other contact number for online purchase they gave the number which is 100 and said that my cousin should continue the matter with the police.
They don`t have respect for the customers after they have lost their money. Such arrogant employees
