Well i’m doing my Final year IT from this college, so I would like to put my view about this College.
Universal College of Engienering(UCoE), Kaman, Vasai
Location:
This College is situated by the NH 4, about 3 km from nearest railway station of Kaman Road on Diva-Vasai railway line.Personally, what I like about this college is its beautiful surrounding with a forest cover on all sides and beside tha you will get a great view of kaman river flowing alongside.The surrounding are quiet with minimal civilization, though this college is located remotely from city, travelling is a major problem, but the college has organized chargeable bus facility for staff and student from vasai, borivali, thane.
Infrastructure:
The campus is enormous when it compared to other college located in city, the class and labs are well spacious and the library is stuffed will all the popular books.Currently the college is getting constructed but no problem whatsoever for students.
Fees:
Currently the first year fees is about 70, 000/- and different fees for bus facility around 18, 000 -20, 000/-.Currently fees for final is 1, 07, 460/- and additional 16, 000/- for bus facility
Faculty and placements.
Most of the teaching staff are average, but some of them are great.They are quite helpful and friendly with studies and extra curriculum activities
The college was established in 2012, so the placement cell is decent comprising of some companies for the future of the student.
Final verdict::
Decent college with great surrounding and decent staff.If you stay near virar-borivali and got decent marks then you can go for this college otherwise there are lot of better college than this one.
What personally I really don’t like about this college is its timing which is 9 am-5 pm and the canteen, though you get holiday on Saturday!
