University of Calcutta is more popular and oldest University in West Bengal as well as India. This University has produced many Doctors, Engineers, Professors and Scientists. Foreign countries give special honour to University. Though University is located in Kolkata of West Bengal but from other states many students come to study here. Even from foreign countries also many students take admission every year. This is the very part of this University but the worse part of this University is that syllabus pattern is outdated. They do not think to update syllabus. Secondly, marking system is very poor. It is really very difficult to score 60% mark from this University. They always delay to publish result. If University authority rectify above mentioned point then students will be benefitted.
