And yes with the title, I sincerely mean its’the’ worst university. The pressure of the syllabus is extremely high to take. Being an english hons student(1st year) in one of the affiliated colleges of calcutta university, I regret being a part of it.
Not just the syllabus, scoring high in subjects under calcutta university is a dream which will NEVER come true. You work the entire day and night and at the exam you dont get more than 60% . This university doesn’t value student’s effort at ALL. You will be completely screwed up if you study under Calcutta University. Dont make this mistake like I did. Take admission only if you are a scholarly headed not if you are just a student.
